***C+ SUCCESS***

Well done to all 5 of our members who passed their C+ test today. Cian, Laura, Lucy, Charlotte and Chelsea all rode really well and were superb with their theory. They had obviously all put in a lot of work and it showed. Well done to all of you.

Fantastic Start to the C+ Exams

Well done to those members who took the first part of their C+ exam this weekend in Sarratt. Cian, Lucy, Charlotte, Laura and Chelsea all passed the horse and pony care elements on Saturday and now just have the loading to do to finish off that section. Keep up the good work and let’s hope the riding part goes just as well next month.

***GRASSROOTS CHAMPS***

Keysoe Sat 9th – Sunday 10th

It was an action packed weekend for OBHS with a team in the Showjumping on Saturday and an Eventing team on the Sunday:

Showjumping team:
Our showjumping team consisting of: Cian, Megan, Annabel and Charlotte. They jumped their hearts out finishing on a respectable 16 faults, over two courses of testing fences out of the 29 teams that took part only two teams managed to jump clear! Megan went on to an individual jump off after getting two double clears with Malteser but sadly an unlucky pole put her just outside of the placings.

Eventing team:
Our eventing team consisting of: Megan, Lucy, Laura and Charlotte. Laura produced a lovely dressage test, Megan jumped a beautiful clear SJ, Lucy a foot perfect if not too quick xc 🙂 and Charlotte has been nicknamed ‘Cat’ after two ‘tactical dismounts’ one in the dressage warm-up and the other on the xc course, thankfully both ok and she remounted to finish the course perfectly.

All in all a great a weekend was had by all with plenty to take away from it. Many thanks to Bean (Karina Cope) for supporting both teams and the parents (think they needed it more) over the two days.

***MORE EXAM SUCCESS FOR OBH SOUTH!***

Congratulations to two more of our members who have passed their Pony Club exams. Well done to Georgia Vella for passing her B Horse and Pony Care exam and to Mimo Sandford for passing her AH, which is the stable management phase of the A Test. These are both high level exams and both girls have put in lots of training and revision in order to achieve these levels.

***CONGRATULATIONS***
A huge well done to 2 of our members who have just passed their recent Pony Club Horse and Pony Care exams.
After a cracking 8th team place in the Horse and Pony Care competition at the Pony Club Champs, Izzy Coghlan has further proven her ability by passing her B Test Horse and Pony Care exam this weekend.
After passing 2 of the AH modules last year, Mead Jenkins has recently sat and passed the remaining two modules of the AH exam. A great achievement as this is the highest level of Horse and Pony Care exam in Pony Club.
Well done to both of them.
