Former OS&B member to compete at FEI European Championships

Congratulations to former OS&B member, Luke Philimore, who has achieved his first call up to the senior reining team at the FEI European Championships in August, earning his Union Jack. He could now be in contention for a team place at the FEI World Equestrian Games next summer. Well done Luke!

Two OS&B members pass their B Test

Congratulations to Harriet Gillam and Sophie Preston who both passed their B Test today. Really well done girls, you put in a lot of hard work in order to achieve this, and thank you to Jean Preston for preparing them so well.

The Pony Club Championships – Eventing

Congratulations to our OS&B eventing team of Ronni Harding-Good, Eloise Van Praagh, Bella Wilkinson, and Anne-Marie Cobb who competed at the Pony Club Novice Eventing Championships at Cholmondley Castle and finished up just outside the placings. Ronni, Bella, and Anne-Marie all had good clear rounds cross country but picked up some time faults, and Eloise just had an unlucky stop. It is a huge achievement to have got all four of our team members home safely from a challenging cross country course and you all did the OS&B proud!

The Pony Club Championships – Dressage

The OS&B had a hugely successful time at the Pony Club Novice Dressage Championships at Cholmondley Castle. The team of Tia Holland, Eloise Van Praagh, Rosanna Wrigglesworth, and Bella Wilkinson all performed superbly to come 2nd by only 0.7 of a point! Eloise won her arena, Tia was second, Rosanna 3rd, and Bella 7th. To add to the excitement, Tia and Eloise both qualified for the ride-off which determines the overall individual placings, and were second and third respectively, with Tia on a score of 71.04% and Eloise on a score of  70.83%. Tia just missed out on first place by 0.07%!! A massive well done to the whole team, you are all superstars.

The Pony Club Championships – Show Jumping

Congratulations to Eloise Van Praagh who came 7th in the Pony Club Novice Show Jumping Championships at Cholmondley Castle. Eloise and her pony Munro Highlander were also competing at the Novice Dressage and Eventing Championships at Cholmondley, and it is a huge achievement to have qualified for three disciplines.

Thank you to Harry Meade for an excellent Eventing training session

It was great to see you at Littleton Manor, and I thoroughly enjoyed teaching your group – it’s great to see a bunch of riders who all ride so much better than they think and were totally ready to go from riding like children to adults in one session! Seeing them together reminded me of all the fun I had in pony club, forming of a great group of friends – the vast majority of whom have remained life long friends that I still see on a regular basis. Your group was a classic example of why people shouldn’t leave the pony club thinking that BE is a suitable replacement, thereby missing out on everything the PC has to offer.
