Peak Pony Club Camp 2026

Peak Pony Club members enjoyed a fantastic Camp at Somerford Farm, making the most of four action-packed days of riding, learning and fun.

We were fortunate to have warm weather throughout camp, with a welcome breeze helping both horses and riders stay comfortable during our busy schedule of activities.

Members took part in a wide variety of sessions designed to develop their riding skills, confidence and horsemanship. Activities included cross-country training, show jumping, flatwork lessons, drill rides and mounted games, providing something for everyone to enjoy and learn from.

Away from the saddle, members also had the opportunity to expand their equestrian knowledge through horse care sessions and an informative equine dentistry demonstration, gaining valuable insight into the importance of dental health for our horses and ponies.

There was plenty of fun and friendly competition too, with a popular hobby horse competition and evening games helping to create lasting memories and strengthen friendships across the club.

Camp is always a highlight of the Pony Club calendar, and this year was no exception. It was wonderful to see members supporting one another, developing new skills and enjoying time with their horses in such a positive environment.

A huge thank you goes to all of the professionals who delivered excellent training and educational sessions throughout the camp, as well as the many volunteers, organisers and supporters who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the event possible. Their commitment, enthusiasm and hard work ensured another successful and enjoyable camp for all involved.

We would also like to thank our members and families for their support and enthusiasm throughout the week.
