Countryside Access Badge on Foot Rally in Bollington

On Friday 14th August, Peak Pony Club members enjoyed a fun and informative Countryside Access Badge on Foot Rally with Christine Harding.

The evening began with a very important ingredient for a successful Pony Club activity – pizza! 🍕 With everyone fuelled up, the group headed out on foot to explore the countryside around Bollington.

During the evening, members explored local bridleways and countryside routes while learning all about countryside signs, access routes and the rules that help everyone enjoy the countryside safely and responsibly.

Christine shared lots of useful information and helped the members understand how to recognise different signs, use shared routes considerately and respect other countryside users, landowners, wildlife and the environment.

It was a great opportunity to learn more about countryside access while enjoying the fresh air and beautiful local surroundings – all without needing a pony for the evening!
