The Petersfield Branch was established in 1977 and is part of Pony Club Area 13. Our area covers Hindhead down to East Meon and from Headley across to Rogate.
We have about 100 members and this means we are small enough to know our members well but also have enough to lay on a wide range of activities and events to cater for all ages and abilities from lead rein up to members in their twenties.
We have a very full programme of events for our members offering training in all disciplines and monthly days when we come together as a club. We encourage high standards of horsemanship and riding and encourage members to progress through the Pony Club Test system at the same time having lots of fun and making great friends forever.
Of course, we also have camps in the summer holidays and two-day clinics in the Easter holidays (for all levels), these are lovely as we can all spend time together having fun with our ponies and horses.
Branch Newsletters are sent out quarterly to keep you informed and all the events and rallies are booked at least 6 months ahead so you can see what’s coming. We have a party in October with lots of cups and prizes to celebrate successes and participation at all levels.
We are proud to be known as a very friendly branch and we have plenty of opportunities to compete from Mini to Open events, with regular representations at the Pony Club Championships in a variety of disciplines.
