QHPC activities: book via ‘online booking’ and note following guidance:

Activities are listed on the ‘online booking’ page. Please observe the following rules.

Do not attend if anyone in your household is showing any symptoms of Covid-19:

  1. Only one accompanying adult per attending QHPC member. No other adults, or children not booked on the rally, can attend.
  2. Please ensure members are correctly dressed (dress code above) and pony tack is checked and correct, as dress and tack check will have to be done at a distance.
  3. Please arrive promptly, but not too early. Arrive 10-15 minutes before you are due to ride so you have time to unload and warm up.
  4. For one to one sessions and 2 member sessions it will be possible for accompanying adults to observe near arena perimeter (or be in arena for lead rein classes) but for sessions with more than 2 members it will be necessary, under current guidelines, for accompanying adults to remain in their vehicles except when helping member to unload and load.
  5. After your activity, please load and leave as quickly as possible so that others can arrive promptly and park safely.
  6. Chosen venues allow for appropriate vehicle parking at least 5m apart.
  7. Chosen venues will allow for arena entry, arena exit and warm-up and coaching sessions to be carried out with appropriate social distancing.
  8. It is essential that 2m social distancing is observed, hands are sanitised on arrival and departure (hand sanitiser provided).
  9. Wash your hands as soon as you get home.
  10. Toilets will not be available at venues.

LATEST EQUINE FLU NEWS RE VACCINATIONS  Ponies and Horses attending any Pony Club Area or Championship event must have been vaccinated for equine flu within the last 6 months and must not have been vaccinated on any of the 6 days before the event day. This is now in line with many other organisations (e.g BE) and venues (e.g. Brooksby).  It is recommended that all horses and ponies should be vaccinated every 12 months.

If you are attending any QHPC rally / event, please remember to take your passport (with the vaccination entries) as they will be checked. It is also a legal requirement that passports accompany horse and ponies when in transit.
