Royal Artillery PC Tetrathlon and Triathlon Team selection policy
For branch Triathlon competitions where team selection is required, ie there are more than 4 RA competitors in a class; the Tetrathlon manager will select competitors members with the highest scores at recent competitions, taking into account commitment, age and opportunities.   When there are a series of competitions the 4th member will swap around giving others an opportunity to be in the RA team.  Commitment to training and competing, and age will also be taken into account.  The aim is to be as inclusive as possible with the opportunity for the branch team to do as well as possible.  Members not in the RA team will be included in a mixed team arranged by the event organiser.
Teams for Tetrathlon competition the ride phase will have a strong influence together with the Triathlon scores for team selection.
The intention is for all RA members to feel part of the wider RAPC Tetrathlon team at all competitions and in training

Rules of the Range:
All pistols to remain boxed until the Range Conducting Officer (RCO) gives instructions to unbox.
Thereafter, don’t touch the pistols until asked to by the RCO
Pistols must be pointing down the range at all times.
No one may go into the range until all pistols are ‘broken’, flagged and the order is given to enter the range by the RCO
If there is a problem with the pistol, put the pistol down on the table and put your hand up, to tell the RCO.
If you hear “STOP, STOP, STOP”, put your pistol down on the table, take your hands away and await further instructions.
Look down the range at all times. Don’t look behind you, you may take the pistol around with you too.
Toes behind the line.
Have a ‘fist gap’ between you and the table, so you don’t touch the table to give you stability.
When loading the pistol keep it on the table. When closing it, keep the butt (handle) on the table and the pistol pointing down the range.
Only load when give the order to load, or re load by the RCO
