Area 4 Inter-Branch Winter Dressage 2018/19

To be held at Bold Heath Equestrian Centre, Warrington Rd,
Bold Heath, Widnes WA8 3XT.
Class LR: Lead Rein Mini League – Pony Club Walk & Trot Dressage Test 2013 – LEAD REIN ONLY
**Lead rein riders cannot enter any other class. Riders can enter in all 4 rounds. A prize for the lead rein
overall series winner and runners-up will be awarded at on 2nd February 2019.

Class 1: New to Dressage Mini League – Pony Club Walk & Trot Dressage Test 2013 (for riders aged 11 and
under only). Class 1 riders cannot be entered in any other class.
Riders can enter in all 4 rounds. A prize for the
overall series winner and runners-up will be awarded on 2nd February 2019.

Class 2: Grassroots – Pony Club Grassroots Test 2018.
For riders not ready to compete at Novice level.
Grassroots riders can be entered for Team Prelim Test.
Riders can enter in all 4 rounds. Top 6 riders in each
round will be invited to a ride-off final on 2nd March 2019.

Class 3a: Dengie Novice (Pony Club Novice 2018).

Class 3b: Dengie Intermediate (Pony Club Intermediate 2013).

Class 3c: Dengie Open (Pony Club Open 2015).

Class 4: Team Test (Prelim 18 2002).
Teams should be made up of 3 or 4 riders,
no individual competitors.
Top 3 scores will count to team total.
Winning team will be presented with salver on 2nd March 2019. The top 10
riders from each round will be invited back for a ride off final on 2nd March 2019.

Saturday 20th October 2018: Round 1
Saturday 17th November 2018: Round 2
Saturday 12th January 2019: Round 3
Saturday 2nd February 2019: Round 4
Saturday 2nd March 2019: Semi-final day**

**Dengie Semi Final for Area 4 Novice /Intermediate/Open classes
Times: Times will be available from the Haydock Park Website 2 days prior to the competition after 6.30pm.

Dengie Classes:
1. Please refer to the rules on the Pony Club Website
Other Classes:
2. Competition to be run under the Pony Club Dressage Rules for the current year.
3. Age of rider as on 1st January of current year.
4. Each Branch can field more than one team dependent on total number of pre-booked entries. Please contact
Secretary before submitting a second team, however the highest placed team points to count only.
5. Points are awarded to the first 6 teams only.
6. A member may only compete twice in the team prelim series.
7. Class 4 – A horse/pony may only be ridden twice in any team class and through the series unless owned by a
Member of the same family.
8. Entry Fees – Classes LR, Class 1,2 & 4 -£12 per rider, all Dengie classes £13 per rider
9. Team declarations to be received with correct entry fee 7 days prior to each competition.
10. NO Late entries will be accepted.
11. Team and individual rosettes awarded in each round to 6th place.
12. Competitors may have a caller in any round except Semi-final day where no callers are allowed in any class
