Mounted Games – Area 1 Competition

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to compete, support and help at our Area games competition and Strathearn friendly this weekend at Powside, by kind permission of the Wilson family. We had competitors who travelled from as far as Orkney and what a great bunch of kids and parents they all were.

It was a very successful weekend with our senior A’s and junior team winning both the Area’s and friendly competition and a win in the Area pairs for Ollie & Carmen.

Notable success for our senior B and C on both days with great racing and team work. Katherine and Taylor also came a comendable 3rd in Area pairs, great racing for Flora and Erin and Chloe and Sophia competed for the 1st time together.

We were especially happy to retain the Teresa Da Silva Cup, a Cup which has been very generously donated to the club by James, Jess and Ollie Garnett in memory of Teresa. Presented today by Jess & Ollie.

Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this possible, including our fantastic coaches, Jess, Jude and Andrew. Our committee members, pony club officials and of course Stuart, who kept us all entertained with his commentary.
