2024 JUNIOR CAMP – FRI 23rd – SUN 25th AUG
PONIES, PALS, PLAY, PRACTICE, PERFORMANCE and PRECIOUS MEMORIES our pony club camps are the highlight of the year. Our members look forward to our summer camps every year and give them the chance to spend a few days with both their 2 and 4 legged friends. A mixture of ridden and non-ridden training alongside fun and games, they are a great opportunity to finish out the summer holidays with a blast! Junior camp is run as day rallies, this means all parents and children will return home in the evening. Camp starts at 9:00am and finishes at 6:00pm each day. The ponies can stay over at Berriewood, and our camp coordinators will take responsibility for all ponies when the yard shuts at 06:00pm after feeding. Camp will be on a self-catering basis and parents will need to provide children and themselves with a packed lunch and drinks each day. A responsible adult must be present with your child at all times. There are toilet facilities onsite and indoor areas to get warm and dry should the weather is not favourable. Camp letters are sent out in April/May with full details of the camp along with costs and payment terms.
2023 JUNIOR CAMP
What an amazing 3 days it has been with our totally awesome children and ponies. Thank you so much to our fantastic coaches Kelly and Abby, and to our wonderful parents who are making wonderful memories, our senior helpers who worked so very hard, Berriewood Farm for the amazing facilities and our junior camp committee team of Sally-Anne, Catrin and Liz for coming along to cheer them on. We have laughed, made new friends, enjoyed our ponies, challenged ourselves and learnt new skills and that’s a wrap until 2024 ! The Wheatland Hunt Pony Club rocks!
