INTRODUCTION:

The Wheatland Hunt Branch is situated within Area 7 of the Pony Club and caters for members of all ages and abilities –  from toddlers on the lead rein up to older members with a maximum age of 25 years.

There are numerous opportunities to participate in many various activities, including mounted rallies and training sessions, dismounted stable management and badge sessions, road rider and other progressive tests, and also,  for those who wish to compete, the opportunity to represent our club at both local and area/national competitions.

Our Rallies are held throughout the year with rides adapted to suit all levels of ability whilst our ever-popular annual camps run during the Summer holidays.

There are also other social events and activities arranged for the enjoyment of our members.

We are a friendly club and always welcome new members – please feel free to contact us for further information.

The Pony Club is an international voluntary youth organisation, dedicated to encouraging young people to ride and to care for horses and ponies, whilst promoting the highest ideals of sportsmanship.

As a Member of The Pony Club, I stand for the
best in sportsmanship as well as in horsemanship.
I shall compete for the enjoyment of the game well
played and take winning or losing in my stride,
remembering that without good manners and
good temper, sport loses its cause for being.
I shall endeavour to treat my horse with
consideration

We are a voluntary organisation and all our committee members give their time freely.  Members and parents are encouraged to help out where possible and for this we are very grateful.  Thank you.
