A VERY WET & WONDERFUL DAY AT AREA 7 DRESSAGE

A very wet day was had by all at the Area 7 Dressage qualifiers @ Dallas Burston but that didn’t stop our fabulous Wheatland members doing an absolutely awesome job representing the branch.

Ruby started the day in the PC70 ending up in 9th place and qualifying for regional champs.

The Wheatland Black team of Katie, Maisie & Millie-Jane all rode beautifully earning a team 11th with Maisie picking up individual 6th and a Regional Champs qualification place.

The Wheatland Gold team of Erin, Holly & Izzy all did brilliantly well earning a team 7th with Erin placing 10th, Holly placing 6th and Izzy placing 2nd all with Regional Champs qualifications.

Layla was next in the Novice section with Bertie riding beautifully as always and earning an individual 4th place.

Last but not least Bella and Jumbo took on the open class in style picking up team 1st with a mixed Area team and individual 4th qualifying for Champs.

All the girls were fabulous especially as the conditions were very unpleasant!! Their team spirit and kindness and support for their friends shine through. Thank you to Melanie Rowley for all your help warming the girls up and to Nancy Rollings for all her training in the lead up to the event.
