Inter Branch Show Jumping Information.

Hi everyone, just some information for you regarding how the team show jumping works, I hope you find this helpful, especially all our new members.

Schedules will come out to you periodically once available eg Junior series.  Middleton Junior Series Qualifier – Saturday 25 May 2024 – Middleton, Bulmer

These competitions are usually for teams of 4 riders, or individual. You just need to let Charlotte Elsworth know if you wish to be entered, I will then collate names and put teams together. YOU NEED TO HAVE ATTENDED 2 RECENT RALLIES .
You will automatically be entered if you email me, so if you then find you cannot attend, you must let me know as soon as possible as I will have entered and paid for you.

Charlotte will contact you a couple of days before the competition, once the times have been released to let you know what time you will be jumping.

If we do not receive enough riders to make up a team, you can still compete and may be put with another pc who also does not have enough rider to make a team of 4.

Generally, there will be two rounds per class, each rider will jump in both rounds. The best 3 scores of the 4 riders are added together and carried through to the second rounds, the best 3 from the second rounds are then added to decide on placings. Second rounds are normally timed and used in the event of a tie in scores. The JS comps are qualifiers for a final at Bishop Burton in October

If you wish to enter a Team Show Jumping competition as the schedules are emailed out, please email Charlotte Elsworth directly and include horse and rider name and age, email address and telephone number; and class/es you wish to enter. Charlotte Elsworth and Sophie Minikin will put teams together once all the entries are in and then Sophie will let you know which team you are in.

If you would like your son/daughter to be entered in a team you will then need then to email Charlotte; YANteams@yahoo.com

Schedules and times can also be found on the relevant PC websites.

We also run area PC show jumping training for juniors and seniors, if you would like to be considered for these please contact Sophie Minikin
