Some of our members travelled to Monmouth yesterday ( 5th Feb)to do a triathlon.  They had a really good day, Sammie Williams (6) came 3rd individually and had a team 1st in the tiddlers competition.  Sophie Howell (8) had a team 4th in the tadpole competition.  Dan Williams (11) had a 1st with a great score of 3018, the only person to get over 3000 pts out of 35 competitors and with Ollie Howell (10) had a team 4th.  Well done to you all a great effort.

Hi AllJust to say well done to our intrepid 5 competitors who competed for us in The Elms tetrathlon yesterday. On a long hot sunny day (all the 4 disciplines were held on the same day), those out competing for us were Tiana, Sophie, Harvey, Oliver and Ozzie. With Sophie and Oliver Howell putting in clear rounds with Sophie gaining individual 2nd and best bean bag shoot and Oliver gaining 4th team ( best score in his team). With only 3 in a team Harvey’s score had to count gaining team 3rd.Tiana being one of the youngest if not the youngest competing in only her second event and brother Ozzie being his first ever competition with Ozzie being part of a winning team for his section.Well done again for those lovely smiles and for supporting each other.Well done also to all the ground supporting crew of mum’s, dad’s family members and friends for a very early start, long day and late finish.A Thumbs up signSmiling face with open mouth and smiling eyes

Hi All
> Just a quick update.
> Well done for those competing at the Monmouth tri on Sunday.
> Sophie and Oliver Howell and Dan Williams were out competing for BHSPC. Regrettably both Samuel and Amy weren’t able to join them due to not being well. Just to wish them both a quick recovery in time for Easter.
> Sophie came home with a well deserved 6th individual place and team 5th. Well done Sophie.
> Oliver with a well deserved 5th team place and a pb in his swim. Well done Oliver.
> Competing in his first year of mini boys was Dan who came home with a well deserved 2nd place and team 2nd and also best run. Well done Dan.
> Dan also came 2nd in the area 10 series in his first year of competing at this level. Great achievement well done.
> Well done all and here’s hoping to add to your successes in the up and coming tetrathlon season.
> There’s still time to add your name for the tri on 3rd April at Cheltenham and also beaufort tetrathlon at Shipton moyne on 9 and 10 April.
> Also beaufort are also looking for fence judges to assist on the Sunday so if you know anyone who is interested then please let me know and I’ll forward details to organiser – I’ve put my name down so hope to see some great riding from our members! Going clear of course!
> Happy Easter to all.
> Anita

Out competing for us todayy (14/2)were Sophie and Oliver Howell. Unfortunately Daniel Williams wasnt feeling very well and wasn’t able to compete today. Hope you get better soon Dan.
> Sophie competed in her first ever tetrathlon today and with one of the very few maximum score rides gained 1st place individually and was only a few metres from gaining best swim. Not only did she have to remember the course by herself she also had a slip rail and halt box to contend with – well done Sophie.
> Oliver competing in the under 9s group came home with 6th team placing and with a PB swim. Well done Ollie.
> Next competition is Monmouth in March.
