12Apr12 Rufford Dressage Competition

Well what a brilliant day I’ve had. How proud am I of all my dressage riders. They really did the GROVE proud. The team spirit was amazing and everyone was encouraging of each other. Everyone went home with a rosette, some a few more – Lucy I lost count!

A big thankyou to Marie for organisng, chasing and encouraging you all. Also thankyou to Liz for training the teams and getting them to such a high standard.

Marie  is always reminding everyone to smile, well I’ve never seen so many smiles from my members.  Well done and here’s to the next time.

WOW what can I say, a super day out at the Rufford dressage competition.
Each and everyone of you should be very proud of what you achieved.
We won and were placed in all classes we entered. What an achievement on our first outing.
As teams you worked together and supported one another which was so lovely to see.
The hard work you all put in learning your tests paid off.
Special thanks go out to all our mums and dads who chauffeured you and groomed for you on the day we couldn’t manage with out them.:D big grin
Also to Donna Comery for looking after the little Gremlins, test commander.
And to your D C Margaret for her help and support on the day.

Team members – Lucy (4th with 66%), Bethan and James (joint 3rd with 69%) and Anna (1st with 80%!!)

3Apr12 Congratulation to Livvi Pack

Congratulation to Livvi who rode at the Dengie Dressage Championships. She came joint 8th out of 47 competitors. A brilliant result Livvi!
Good luck to the members going to the forthcoming team dressage competitions and also to the Mounted Games  teams for Friday 6th April.

28Mar12 Congratualtion to Emily!
A big well done goes to Emily Blackman and her pony Jazz it up.
They had a fantastic weekend out both days performing 4 different dressage tests with great results.
Saturday at the Dengie in the warm up Novice 27 they came 2nd and in the Dengie Intermediate came 7th.
Sunday at Yorkshire BD in the Prelim 13 they were 4th and WON the Prelim 15,qualifying for the summer regional finals.

26Mar12 Dengie Dressage Diva

A big well done to of our two members who went forward to the second rounds of the Dengie dressage competition, held at Louth at the weekend.

Bethan Comery and Trigger finished a very respectful 8th place and did Grove proud under pressure .
Then Livvi Pack and her mount Riley performed one of their best dressage tests to date to WIN the novice section with a score of 70.4%, and is now on her way to the finals to be held in Warwickshire this coming weekend.
We wish ivvi lots of luck for the final, go for it Livvi.
Livvi and Riley then went out again on the Sunday for the trailblazers 2nd rounds and qualified for the Prelim and Novice finals to be held at Stoneliegh in July.
A great weekend and one to remember in the Pack household
