New pony racing training and race dates announced

The next race training day is 29 January 2017 at Copped Hall Farm, Billingshurst, West Sussex, starting at 9am. The day will cover learning how to ride a race, what to do at the races, fitness, balance and style. It is also about having fun!  Entries close 23/01/2017 at 9:00am so book now by contacting loupearson@btinternet.com. Forthcoming race dates are on the pony racing page.

Annual prize giving and AGM

We’re holding our annual prize giving and AGM at 7pm on Thursday 2nd February in Hildenborough Village Hall on Riding Lane (note the change of venue! NOT the church hall this year). It’s a good opportunity to find out more about what the branch has been up to and hear about plans for the coming year. Refreshments will be provided and you’ll also be able to buy branch merchandise (jackets etc.) and collect your 2017 membership card. We hope to see many of you there!

New venue and date for our WKSPC one day event

Due to a change of management at Lockskinners, we have secured an exciting new venue for our one day event this year: East Bysshe. The event will be held on Sunday 18th June. More details and full schedule to follow in due course.

Well done Ben Pearson and Honor Redhouse who both had convincing wins at Lingfield Racecourse recently. It was Honor’s first time out on the racing circuit and the latest victory for Ben who is building up a great race record.  Ben was also awarded Best Technical Ride.
