With around 100 members, we’re a friendly, active branch where there is always plenty going on. We cater for a wide range of abilities and disciplines and there’s ample opportunity to compete for those who want to. Whatever your level of experience, we promise you’ll have fun, learn lots and make friends!

We’re off to Champs!

WKSPC riders have qualified for PC Championships/Regional Championships in an amazing four disclipines this year: mounted games, eventing, dressage and show jumping!

  • Our junior mounted games team (Harry Scott, Freja Noble-Jennings, Poppy Humfrey, Iona Day and Lara Bailey) came 3rd at Zones and qualified for Champs
  • Our grassroots eventing team (Abi Scott, Archie Humfrey, Eliza Crane, Sophie Massey) took 5th place at Area and are off to Keysoe for Regional Champs
  • In dressage our Open team (Nicola Damms, Tori Morris and Pippa Greenwood) and Novice team (Dean Milligan, Millie Massey, Sophie Massey and Jasmine Douse) both won their sections at Area and are off to Champs. The grassroots team (Harry Scott, Abi Scott, Darcy Rook and Crystal Robinson-Long) came second at Area and qualified for Regional Champs at Keysoe
  • One of our grassroots SJ teams also qualified for Keysoe by coming third at Area. Well done to Honor Redhouse, Eliza Crane, Tillie Woods and Archie Humfrey.

Pony racing

There will be a racing practice session on Wednesday 9th August (venue TBC). Please contact Louise Pearson if you are interested in attending.

 

*******RESULTS FOR WKSPC ONE DAY EVENT, 18th JUNE****************

It was lovely to see so many people at our one day event last weekend. Thank you to all competitors for coming and for helping to make it such an enjoyable day, despite the blistering heat! A huge and heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers, judges, stewards, course builders, sandwich makers and everyone who made it happen. We just couldn’t do it without you.

Area Horse & Pony Care results

Well done to our Horse & Pony Care teams who took part in the Area competition at Albourne Equestrian Centre on 23 April, placed 3rd and 8th! See the Horse & Pony Care page for full details.

Annual prize giving and AGM

We held our annual prize giving and AGM on 2nd February and celebrated the success, achievement and participation of our members. A full report on the evening’s prizes can be found here. We also said goodbye to Mrs Minto who has stepped down after many years’ service to our branch, and welcomed Mrs Anne Mills into the role of DC.
