Pony Club is all about making friends and having fun, while enjoying your pony and learning together. Whether you own, loan or borrow a pony, or even if you don’t currently have one to ride, you will find plenty to do at West Kent Sevenoaks PC. Most of our rallies are held in the Sevenoaks and Tonbridge areas but we sometimes go further afield for training at specialist venues.
For parents, carers, siblings and grandparents there’s also lots of opportunity to make friends and share knowledge. We welcome non-horsey parents and Pony Club newbies as well as those who’ve been members themselves. We’ll always do our best to help and advise you, and in return we love to involve you all in our activities too. Even if you barely know one end of a horse from another, there’s always a way you can help out to make our Branch even better. Even on the coldest, wettest day you’ll feel a warm glow inside!

We have a year-round programme of training, ridden and non-ridden activities, competitions, social gatherings and three fantastic summer camps. We are part of Pony Club Area 11 and our members can attend Area 11 training and competitions across Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
We provide training and competition opportunities in dressage, eventing, show jumping, tetrathlon and mounted games as well as horse & pony care. Via Area 11 activities, members can also get involved in pony racing and polocrosse.
Members who don’t want to compete or don’t yet feel ready to are very welcome to come to training and enjoy all the other aspects of Pony Club membership. If you need additional support please tell us how we can make reasonable adjustment to give you better access to everything Pony Club offers.

Taking good care of ponies lies at the heart of everything we do. Members learn all about stable management and pony care and understand that their horse’s health and happiness always comes first. They learn to support their fellow members, treat each other fairly and be a good team player. They can earn a huge variety of achievement badges as well as compete in quizzes and pony care competitions at Area and National level.
