JCB Eventing Pony Club Championships

The last few days at the championships saw Henry, Sophie and Holly representing Albrighton in the PC90 Eventing

Sophie and Pepper made a great start with a dressage score of 29, but sadly an old rider injury flare up meant a sensible retirement during XC. Holly and Nico are a new partnership this year, they have made some really good progress and although the day didn’t go to plan, we hope to see them back next year.

Henry and his pony Glenford Rose got off to a great start in Dressage, scoring an impressive 26.7. They then followed this up with just 4 faults in Show Jumping, leaving them in a strong position heading out onto the cross-country course. They flew round, producing one of only a few clear rounds of the day, finishing 5th in their section. Huge congratulations to them both on a brilliant day!
