Flint and Denbigh PC girls Daisy Stone and Leia Lloyd Williams were both selected to play for Wales in the Pony Club Four Nations Polocrosse competition on 24/25th July – Daisy in the Mini section and Leia in the Junior section .

It was a very exciting competition resulting in a tense final between England and Wales .

Wales came a close second overall losing by only two goals .

Daisy’s Mini section won their competition and Leia’s Junior section came second .

It was a brilliant Pony Club experience .

Daisy Stone age 12 and Leia  LLoyd Williams age 15, both from Flint and Denbigh Branch, have been selected to play for the Welsh team at the Four Nations tournament to be held at the Cheshire Polo Club, Tarporley July 21 -25th. They will have two days of training at the ground before the competition.  Daisy is in the Mini Section and Leia in the Juniors.

Three Rallies Rule

The basic rule under PC Rules as per the Handbook (Rule 10.9 page 45) is that for Area Competitions and above, Members must have been to a minimum of three working rallies since the previous 1st July, to be eligible to represent their Branch. Camp counts as one Working Rally.

However the various sports have specific rules that elaborate on this and the rules also have rules for riders and horses/ponies in some cases different or more prescriptive
