AREA 5 – D AND D+ ASSESSOR TRAINING – new date 12th September 2022

D and D+ Assessor Training – date to be decided

  • What3Words them.national.jammy
  • This is a 3 hour workshop for people who would like to start assessing D & D+ Tests, and as a refresher for those who already do so.  It will include the following topics:
    • The Pony Club Test Structure
    • Discussion on and demonstration of the D and D+ standards
    • Questioning technique
    • Practical observation and questioning
    • Giving appropriate feedback

You will receive written feedback with clear guidance on how to progress.  Attendees will then be encouraged to shadow more experienced assessors in Centre or Branch D and D+ Tests, before assessing independently.

You will be emailed a small amount of pre-course work prior to the day.  It shouldn’t take long to do it!  Please bring it with you on the day.

The workshop will count as a CPD refresher for attendees who also coach for the Pony Club.
