Area 8 Polocrosse has gone from strength to strength and we saw some significant success in 2017. We hold monthly training sessions with Iain Heaton, England Polocrosse player and coach. We collaborate with the Silver Leys Polo Club in Hertfordshire, who kindly lend us their wonderful polo pitches for our rallies and training (thanks to Alec Banner-Eve). Although the grass pitches close for the winter, Alec has kindly offered us the use of their all weather polo arena at Moor Hall Farm in Harlow Tye so that our training can continue through the winter months.
For those of you who have not been to a training/taster session, there is a video here so you can see what it is all about! Caro has offered to come and do demos and Intro to Polocrosse Achievement Badges with your Branch or Centre, free of charge – please contact Caro for more details.
If you are interested in being considered for Branch or Area Polocrosse teams, there are three age groups:
- Mini – 12 years and under
- Junior – 15 years and under
- Open – over 15
