PRA/PC Train the Trainers
It’s all about Pony Racing at the British Racing School, Newmarket On Monday 3rd October 2022.
Pony Racing is one of the 9 Pony Club sports our members can enjoy. We work closely with the Pony Racing Authority and will be holding a Train the Trainers CPD Day on Monday 3rd October 2022 at Newmarket Racecourse.
The aim of the day is to Equip coaches with the knowledge and skills they will need to be able to deliver sessions at their local Branch or Centre introducing members to the sport of Pony Racing. What you will take away from the day:
• Being knowledgeable and confident in being able to deliver the Intro to Pony Racing Badge.
• The latest advice regarding eligibility, tack, and safety.
• Practical training ideas including both mounted & unmounted exercises and activities.
Attendees will be provided opportunities to ask questions, share ideas and feedback through out the day please do not hesitate to contribute to the day http://events.pcuk.org/train-the-trainers-pony-racing

For both organisations these training days provide an opportunity for members to develop skills and knowledge of the sport but also offer a route to meeting sports eligibility criteria ready for members to see pony racing resume.

In the attached you’ll see the dates and venues which the days are due to take place on and booking can be made via the PRA website here: https://www.ponyracingauthority.co.uk/get-racing/trainings-days/

We’ve worked together to ensure that these days are Covid Compliant which has seen modifications to how the days run, group sizes, activities and additional measures put in place to ensure we can provide a Covid Secure environment for attendees.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Many thanks
