Camps
Pony Club camps are often the highlight of the year for our members. They provide a fantastic opportunity to develop riding and horsemanship skills, build confidence, make new friends, and create lasting memories in a fun and supportive environment. Whether attending for the first time or returning as a seasoned camper, members enjoy a packed programme of activities, expert instruction, and plenty of opportunities to get involved both in and out of the saddle.
Perfect for our younger and less experienced members, Non-Residential Camp is open to children aged 10 and under and offers a fun introduction to Pony Club camp life.
Members will enjoy a variety of ridden and unmounted activities, with groups carefully organised to suit all abilities, including both lead rein and independent riders. With access to an arena, show jumping, cross-country, mounted games, and plenty of fun activities throughout the week, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Each day runs from approximately 9:30am to 3:30pm, with ponies heading home each evening, making it an ideal way to experience camp in a friendly and supportive environment.
Our Residential Camp is open to members aged 11 and over.
This is a wonderful opportunity for members and their horses or ponies to fully immerse themselves in camp life, with a packed programme of training, learning, and social activities. Members take part in a variety of ridden sessions, including flatwork, show jumping, and cross-country, all delivered by experienced instructors using excellent facilities.
Members and their horses stay on site throughout the camp, creating a unique community atmosphere and an unforgettable experience. Accommodation is provided in members’ own lorries, caravans, or tents, allowing everyone to enjoy the traditional Pony Club camp experience.
Whether you’re attending your first residential camp or returning for another year, it is a fantastic opportunity to improve your skills, gain independence, and enjoy a memorable week with friends and ponies alike. 🐴💙

Residential Camp –
This camp is for members aged 11 and over and will take place at Pickering Grange Equestrian Centre with ponies/horses and members staying on site. This will follow a similar format to last year with a range of ridden activities on surfaces (activities will include flatwork, show jumping, cross country). Accommodation will be in your own lorries/caravans/tents.
Mini Camp –
This camp is for members aged 12 and under, with members and their ponies attending during the day only. There will be a range of activities and there will be groups to cater for members on or just off the lead rein.
