Pretty Dark Bay Mare. 13.2 Mare. 8 Yrs old (28/06/20)

Very pretty 13.2hh approx mare 8 yrs old. She has been with us for 2 ½ years and has come on leaps and bounds since we have had her but now sadly outgrown. She has attended pony club rallies and camp as well as local shows. She is always well behaved and can be tied to the trailer or will go to sleep outside the ring.
Bramble is not a novice ride and is quick and sharp so would suit a calm, confident young rider. Loves being worked, happy to hack, school or jump. Out hacking, she will go first or last and on her own. She is good to lead and lead from.
Easy to handle, shoe, dentist, load and in traffic etc.
Some little quirks which are easily dealt with! She has hayfever but is on a fantastic supplement (cheap and will come with a supply) which keeps it at bay and a nose guard. She can be sensitive with flies when turned out so is now in a bug rug and is much happier. Never bothers with flies whilst being ridden (even horse flies!).
Lives in or out with mares and geldings. Good doer and not greedy.
Up to date with vaccinations etc. Sold with tack and full wardrobe.

‘LINGY’ aka ‘CARLINGFORD STAR’ (18/06/20)

Lingy as he has affectionately become known, is an actual STAR as his name suggests. He is 14.2hh of pure Connemara, and oozes talent.  He is the most wonderful character and has been adored for the last 3 years by our entire family in every element of our lives.  He is rising 15 – is super affectionate, super inquisitive and super (in fact, uber) talented.

His flashy stature makes him an eye-catcher whether in the ring or out, whether show jumping, dressage or cross country or whether out hunting.  In every discipline he excels.  He has given more fun to my son than any other animal and their partnership is testament to the care that this boy takes of his rider.

His record will speak for itself; he is always in the prizes, he has competed in the NSEA SJ competitions every year with us, and has been in the regional champions team on 2 occasions. He adores competing in Tetrathlon competitions too, and has taken my son from a nervous Tadpole through to Minis and beyond. Lingy is one cool customer and hunts at the front, middle or back of the busy Beaufort field and has jumped hedges, gates, ditches and basically anything he has been asked to. Has also turned his hand to leading ponies out hunting too!

He is sadly outgrown and needs to find his next jockey to go and have yet more fun with, ideally out on the hunting field and competing in whichever sphere you chose.  The term ‘all rounder’ applies 1000% to this dude. He will be missed beyond measure as he is a true gent with serious talent.

He is good to clip, load, catch and beautifully behaved for the farrier/back man/teeth.  His only vice is sweet itch but this is easily managed with specific sweet itch rugs from March – October.

Only serious enquiries please. No loans. No LWVTB. Contact 07831871559.

Rowdown Haleys Comet (14/06/2020)
Riding / Pony Club / Competition Pony, Pretty Registered New Forest Mare,
14.2hh, lightweight, 11 years old, very sadly outgrown and looking for a new jockey after 5 years with us.
Enthusiastic, forward, fun pony who likes to get on with the job, she gets a placing nearly every time she goes out.  Has done many Pony Club/ Riding Club rallies and camps.
Competition record – Has competed for many School teams, in 2017 she was runner up at NSEA SJ Championships – 80cm (individual), Tetrathlons including Area and Championships, ODE’s Calmsden, Dauntsey, Stonar, West Wilts. Show jump teams including Area and Gatcombe.
Has team chased at Berkeley and Cotswold, also been on inter hunt relay teams at Peterborough, Royal Windsor, Barbury, North Somerset and Larkhill.
Lovely pony to hack out and do fun rides but like with many ponies, there are some negatives:
Not keen on lorries or large vehicles if hacking alone. She can be crabby in the stable, she doesn’t enjoy being groomed or trimmed, but she can be really sweet when it suits her.
