13h Welsh section b for sale – 21/2/23

Lance is an awesome all round pony club pony. I know most of his history. He has competed to BS80 and has more with the right rider. In all honesty that is regrettably not my daughter.
He is a typical Welsh pony, but not at all nasty. He knows his job and he wants to do it. He’s also a seriously sensitive soul. My daughter is autistic and not the most confident rider. She lacks confidence in herself but Lance needs the confidence from his rider which she just doesn’t give him. Saying that he looks after her. She won’t progress with him because she won’t push or challenge him. It’s broken my heart but they just aren’t right for each other.
With my lightweight 16 year old Lance is fab! He has speed, wants to get the job done and will make an awesome competition pony with a confident jockey. He does a lovely dressage test, regularly jumps courses of 60/70, again has a lot more there, and is a machine xc. Hacks alone and in company, never bucked, reared bolted and is just lovely. He can be left for a few weeks and comes back the same! I can put my 9 year old confident jockey on and he is foot perfect too. My 12 year old hacks him alone and can take him for gallops with friends with no issues. He has also done some lead rein with my nephews, 3 and 5 and is perfect, I’m just not sure he’d be happy with solely lead rein.
On the ground Lance needs a confident handler.. he will get cheeky if allowed to but again never bothered any of us. My daughter can handle him on the ground alone, he just needs rules in place from the start. He is perfect to clip, shoe and loads into a lorry or trailer no problem. He is up to date with teeth and vacs. He does get sedated for the dentist.
Lance prefers to be out but is stabled at night at the moment with no issues… although doesn’t like to be in for too long at a time. He has lived with mares and geldings with no issues.
