Parent help
DO YOU NEED TO FULFIL PARENT DUTIES FOR 2023?
Please get in touch with Alex Connors if you fancy a go at online/live scoring for the Beaufort Pony Club. We already have a small but perfect team of scorers, however we need to recruit a couple more for various 2023 events.
To begin with, we need a couple of scorers on Sunday 5th February at Malmesbury for the Beaufort Triathlon. Would ideally suit someone whose child is not competing.
No Tet experience necessary. No horse experience necessary.
Moderately good computer skills, competent mental arithmetic and accuracy are important. Your own laptop is an advantage.
Alex looks forward to hearing from you; please email her on alex@bestboots.co.uk
Membership Renewals
It’s that time of year again.
PC membership for a lot of people will expire on 31.1.2023.
Those who joined mid-year on a rolling membership can breathe a sigh of relief. You are covered!
If your membership is due for renewal, The Pony Club email system should send you a reminder. This may well end up in your junk mail folder, so it’s worth checking on the dashboard whether your membership renewal is due in January.

An evening with Geoff Billington – Autumn Tour
Unicorn Trust – Stow on the Wold GL54 1JZ
Thursday 17th November – 7pm
“TRAINING FOR SUCCESS”
A slightly different set of demos this autumn. Geoff spends much of his time now training riders all over the country from grassroots to riders jumping at European level.
We thought this would be a good demo subject, it will be relatable to all. Geoff will be training 2 local horses at varying stages of training showing how to apply his training techniques to help riders and their horses get the best results. Geoff will also be bringing “Just Special” his stallion to show a horse jumping at a higher level.
Using a mix of pole work, grids and a course, often you only have to make small changes to get a big result.
Of course, Geoff will still have stories to share of his time riding at the very top of the sport with other jumping legends.
An evening with Geoff without story telling wouldn’t be the same. He will have you all laughing in no time, a good tonic in these difficult times.
Tickets
Adult- £30
Under 15yrs – £20
Group tickets available (5 for the price of 4)
All demos start at 7pm – the cafe at the venue will be open prior to the demo starting to get food and drink. Geoff will work through until 9.30ish with no break.

It was great to see so many of you there and to be able to tell you of our plans for 2023 and to award some lovely cups to deserving members. If you have specific requirements, you can volunteer early to make sure you get a particular date.
