Belvoir Hunt Pony Club – Design a Cross Country Fence Competition 2021

Just a bit of fun for our 2021 members, while we all have lots of time to be creative!

We are inviting you to design a real XC fence and the winner will have it built for us to use for our One Day event, camp and some training – so your design will be famous!

Please design your fence on paper / computer / any medium you choose, take a photo or scan of it and send it to us on events@belvoirpc.co.uk by 11pm Sunday 7th March 2021.

Belvoir – Area 6 Arena Eventing Championships – New date: Friday 9th April

As the lockdown is continuing, and The Pony Club Spring Championships have been cancelled for 2021, we have made the decision to move our competition into that date.

This will not now be a qualifier for a National Championship, but will be an Area 6 Championship. We hope this will give members a good competition to aim for, hopefully once they are able to ride and train. We will keep monitoring changes in regulations.

If you have an existing entry:

it will be transferred automatically to the 9th April.

If you are not able or do not wish to compete, please cancel your entry asap within your horse-events account and your entry fee will be refunded, up to close of entries on Wednesday 31 March.

If there are spaces, we will take additional entries, from Pony Club members, no pony / horse may compete in more than 2 classes.

Depending on the weather, we would plan to hold the competition outdoors in April, to assist with Covid safe precautions.

Please discuss any entry queries with the horse-events.co.uk team via info@horse-events.co.uk

8 Belvoir members celebrated C+ success !

We are very proud of our members who recently passed the very tough C+ level of the Pony Club efficiency test . The test is conducted by two external examiners and the riders are required to have a very high level of knowledge with regards to the care and management of their horse or pony as well as a riding element, in which they must display both practical riding skills to a high level and also be able to explain and show understanding of their riding. We are delighted that eight members of our Pony Club (aged from 13-17) passed their C+ exam which took place over 3 hours at the end of October.

Congratulations to Hope, Amelie, Annabel, Kitty, Poppy, Ella W, Evie and Ella M!
