Pony Club National Championships 2025 – Suffolk Branch News
Last week at the Pony Club Championships we had Faith De’Ath, Xanthe Eldridge, Zara Barber, Daisy Minter, Freya De’Ath, Izzy Openshaw, El Harris, Freya Button all representing the branch in Dressage, Show Jumping or Eventing.
Rosie Edwards, Eliza Gooderham, Isabella Barker, Delilah Germeney, Amara Marriott, Poppy Barber, Isabel Master, Daisy Eaton-Evans all representing the branch in horse and pony care.
This is the National Pony Club Championships with members qualifying from across all four nations of the UK, so rosettes are hard to come by:
El Harris riding Latini placed 8th in the 90 eventing competition.
Zara Barber riding Louie placed 6th in the intermediate dressage competition.
Izzy Openshaw riding Nelly and Zara Barber riding Champ finished 3rd in the pairs dressage to music with an impressive score of 75.94% thanks to coach Emma Pewter for creating the floor plan for the test that they then found the music for.
Well done to everyone who made the effort to train, and then qualify at the area competitions and travel to the championships to compete.
