The Pony Club National Quiz 2024

The Pony Club Quiz is a chance for members to test their knowledge in a fun and friendly team environment.

All ages will be taken from the 1st January of the competition year.

N.B. A Team may consist of four Members under the age of 12 if you wish. In this instance, the Team will be asked to nominate which Member will answer the more advanced questions. One AH Test holder in each Team is allowed to take part in each National Quiz Team.

Training

For members new to the Pony Club these two competitions are a fantastic way to gain an in-depth knowledge of the Manual of Horsemanship, which is the basis for all your test and badges.

Our quiz team has gone from strength to strength, winning the Area 8 competition two years running and qualifying for the National Quiz champs. This year our team came 8Th at Nationals. This is the highest any Suffolk Hunt Team has ever been placed.

We also have had amazing results at Horse and Pony Care, winning the Area 8 competition by over 30 points and qualifying for the Pony Club Championships at Cholmondley Castle.

As we won the Area quiz, it is our turn to host the Area competition again, so it would be fantastic for as many members to take part as possible.

Training is done in an informal manner, usually once a week and normally involves plenty of cake and biscuits!!!!
