Bell Equine visit

The visit to bell equine was amazing and it was something that I have never experienced before. The tour around was very cool and we got some very in depth talks about machines and the medical equipment. We saw the operating theatre which is left set up for colic cases at the end of each in case of an emergency in the night.

One of my favourite parts was walking around and seeing some of the horses that were being stabled there at the time. There situations varied and so did their size, there was a massive 18’2 and the smallest we saw was a 2-day old foal. Overall, the part that I enjoyed most was the dentist talk and we even got to put our hands in the horse’s mouth and got to appreciate how far their mouths go back. It was incredible! This trip was interesting, and I would love to do things that are similar in the future.
