West Kent Meopham Shine at Horse and Pony Care Competition

At the end of May, West Kent Meopham Pony Club attended the Horse and Pony Care Competition at the Royal Alexandra and Albert School in Surrey. This year, the branch was represented by one team: Jessie, Isabelle and Sylvia.

Fresh from their disappointment at the Quiz Finals, the girls were determined to secure a placing this time. The Blue Cross Horse and Pony Care Competition is similar to Quiz but with a practical twist, testing competitors’ knowledge and skills through hands-on tasks with real ponies.

The team had a fantastic day and their hard work paid off, finishing in an impressive third place. This result also earned them qualification for the Pony Club Championships in August — a fantastic achievement. Congratulations to all involved
