Mounted Games

PC mounted games competitions are open to children aged under 15 on 1 January this year, riding a pony not exceeding 14.2hh.

Please contact Emma Sollis if you’re interested in doing mounted games, or just come along to one of our regular games rallies. These sessions are suitable for all standards and are a brilliant way of making friends and starting to learn about MG. Our branch has a long and successful history in the discipline and we’re always looking for new participants, whether you want to compete or just have fun!

PC mounted games rulebook

Mounted games is a fantastic discipline which is fun for riders and ponies.

It is a fast-paced team competition that showcases the rider’s athletic ability, agility, precision of riding and general horsemanship and is great for improving confidence, rider balance, strength and agility.

Riders develop a strong bond with their ponies as well as with their team mates.

Our branch has historically enjoyed much success, sending teams to Area, Zones and National Championships.

We are now in the process of bringing on a new generation of young MGers, focusing on having fun and learning the rules!
