Sara Crane is our eventing manager. Please contact her for more information about eventing, details of our training rallies or to find out about competing.

Eventing is made up of dressage, show jumping and cross country and the season runs from March to October. In spring and autumn there are also hunter trials (just the cross country phase) and some PC branches also run arena eventing competition through the winter (a course of jumps on a surface, with a mixture of show jumps and portable cross country fences).

Please note that for any PC activity/competition involving cross country riding (i.e. eventing, hunter trials or XC jumping), you must wear a skullcap (riding hat without a fixed peak) and a body protector which meets the PC standard. You will also need a number bib to wear when you’re competing and for XC you will need a WKS skin/base layer.

Pony Club eventing is open to all ages, from lead rein (jumping 30-40cm) up to those competing at 1.10m. We offer a range of training rallies throughout the year for all standards and are lucky to benefit from top level coaches as well as access to an excellent range of venues.

Please read the WKSPC team selection policy if you would like to compete on behalf of the branch.
