WELCOME to Poole & District Branch of the Pony Club
Our branch was founded by our past President, Mrs Jacqueline Coleman, in 1973 and is part of Area 14. We are located in Dorset and border Hampshire and Wiltshire.
We have around 70 members ranging from 4 years to 21 years of age and provide coaching in a range of activities. The Pony Club has been the starting point for a large majority of equestrian team members, equine professionals, and medal winners. Training is at the heart of The Pony Club, providing opportunities to build knowledge on improving equine welfare, rider safety and enabling Members to develop lifelong skills, alongside riding, and having fun! There really is something for everyone.
New members are welcomed at any time during the year, as long as you have access to the use of your own or a loan pony that you are able to transport to rallies and events. You will be a member for twelve months from the date of joining.
