Members wishing to event are encouraged to attend the Show Jumping and Dressage training sessions. There are a few interbranch competitions that we can compete in.
Members must be committed to attending training sessions and if selected, travelling to any inter-branch competitions around Area 14. You must attend Team Training during the selection phase and in preparation for Area’s. We hope to enter teams in available competitions and ultimately be able to select teams to represent our branch in the Area 14 Competition. It is up to individuals to contact the eventing team manager in order to be considered for training and competitions.
New members, or current members with new ponies that are unknown to the branch MUST have attended rallies before attending SJ training sessions for assessment. Training sessions must also be attended on the horse or pony with which you intend to be considered for selection. Training is open to all and begins with a ‘taster session’ early in the year.
Please note our Area 14 rally rule policy, that you must have attended three rallies since the 1st July of the previous year to be able to compete at Area level. Please find the policy here: Three Rally Rule 2024
