Dogs on a lead welcome. Please clean up after them.
Please arrive in good time to be mounted and waiting for your Coach at the first activity. For dismounted sessions: please wait in the parking area for your coach to collect you.
Horses/ ponies
Please make sure that your pony is CLEAN and well turned out every day.
Kit List:
A saddle and complete bridle
A head collar with rope attached
A complete set of grooming kit
Tack cleaning materials
Boots, if used
Bandages (various) if you have them
Hay
Water
Bucket & sponge
Whilst it is always encouraged for children to clean and care for their own tack, it has been noted at previous camps that some items had been put together incorrectly or that stitching was in need of repair. For safety’s sake please check the tack before coming to camp, if you are unsure please do ask.
New clothing is not expected but what is worn must be clean, neat and tidy.
Members
Hats must be worn and securely fastened at all times when mounted.
Back protectors are essential for cross country – BETA 2009 or 2018 only
Hair Nets are essential for all ages with long hair
No jewellery
What to wear:
Black, brown or dark blue hat cover
Beige jodhpurs
BHPC Polo Shirts or Base Layer
BHPC sweatshirt
Plain black or brown half chaps may be worn to match jodhpur boots, or long boots
