This IDEAL ROELLA came highly recommended by Maurice at Colne Saddlery for my daughter, and it has been a great success. I have ridden in it, and we both found it to be supremely comfortable, it definitely puts you in the right position. I am no dressage diva so sadly it is for sale, with an almost new Premier Equine Dressage Numnah and girth.
The Roella is the same design as the Suzannah 1650 but is constructed on a tree with a narrower twist and waist, which suits the more petite rider or teenager. The Suzannah is a triumph of saddle design and is IDEAL’s top-selling saddle and was developed in response to the demands of well-muscled competition horses. The Suzannah has bigger, broader panels and gussets, and a softer flock. It is an excellent example of moving from the traditional “close contact” and is a forgiving fit. The horse is freer and goes better than in a traditional close contact and the saddle drops and moulds to the horse.
