Mini Regional Tetrathlon – 29/30 June

Jumping straight in at the deep end, having never competed at tetrathlon before, and learning to shoot in the weeks leading up to the competition, Nell G’s first ever Tetrathlon was the Mini Inter-Regional competition held at Oxstalls and Westonbirt/Malmesbury over the weekend of 29/30 June. As expected, the event was very challenging and competitive, including a long and testing cross-country ride. With just under 100 Minimus (10/11 years old) competitors from all over the UK and Eire, Nell put in a fantastic performance, finishing 27th in the Girls’ class, beating many, much more experienced competitors. Well done!

Area 9 Tetrathlon – 6/7 July

Cici H represented OBHPC at our Area Tetrathlon qualifier at Gadbury, and WON the Junior Girls’ class in spectacular fashion, winning the shoot, run, and swim, and finishing with a clear round in the ride during a torrential rainstorm. Her final score was some 300 points (out of around 4,000) ahead of the 2nd-place girl and Cici qualified for the Tetrathlon Championships at Offchurch Bury on 9-11 August. Well done on a brilliant performance!
