DC’s December Roundup

Gosh, how did that happen!  Another year has passed for the OBHPC – and what fun we’ve had.

From a great Information Evening at the beginning of the year to Horse and Pony Care, Quiz’s, some of the best Camps ever, to a whole range of rallies, a whole range of information, training and Tests and then of course some Competitions and Events and fabulous results for our members at all levels.

Thank you all so much for supporting our Pony Club and we are so looking forward to seeing you all again over Christmas and into the New Year. 

We were so happy to welcome Margaux Manners onto the Committee in September – who is now in the midst of organising a wonderful programme of rallies and activities for our junior members.  She joins Lucy O’Meara who looks after our Trotters and Minis and Helen James-Moore who looks after the entire senior programme.  Thank you!

Somehow or other I managed to twist Helen Keen’s arm – and she has agreed to join me as Joint DC from the New Year – super happy about that and thank you Helen!  As a result of this move, we will be shuffling other roles on the Committee and I will update about that in the New Year.

We are always keen for feedback, so please do keep in touch, let us know what you’re thinking and what activities your child would love to do. We are always up for ideas and we are ALWAYS up for anyone volunteering to organise an activity!

For now, I will leave you to the fun and festivities of Christmas and the New Year and look forward to seeing you all very soon.
