Dressage training is arranged to prepare members to potentially compete at the Area 14 competition. You must attend Team Training during the selection phase and in preparation for Area’s. There are interbranch team competitions but much experience can be gained from competing in local dressage competitions. Please contact Kim if you are interested. Training sessions must also be attended on the horse or pony with which you intend to be considered for selection.
Members must be committed to attending training sessions and if selected, travelling to any inter-branch competitions around Area 14. We hope to enter teams in available competitions and ultimately be able to select teams to represent our branch in the Area Dressage Finals. It is up to individuals to contact the Team Manager in order to be considered for training and competitions.
New members or members with new ponies, unknown to the branch, MUST have attended rallies before attending dressage training.
Please note our Area 14 rally rule policy, that you must have attended three rallies since the 1st July of the previous year to be able to compete at Area level. Please find the policy here: Three Rally Rule 2024
