When you are the on the day Committee Member arrive early enough to set jumps out before a working/SJ rally (less for a flatwork rally) and do your On the Day Risk Assessment. It’s ok to ask parents to help with the setting up, it’s not just yours and the instructors job! At the end of the rally you should stay until everyone is safely out of the arena and back in the control of their parents and all equipment has been put away (again, the last ride should help with this). If people are having a nice time chatting it’s fine to leave but let them know you are going and what needs to be sorted i.e. shutting gates, picking up poos etc.
Tack and Turnout forms can be hand written (there is a blank one as a starting point) but need to be sent to Claire after the rally using the Tack and Turnout Whatsapp group. Please let Helen know on the same group if members don’t attend.
On the Day Risk Assessments need to be held onto and brought to the next Committee Meeting.
Incident and Accidents are now completed online and the link to the Main Pony Club website is available above, there is also a printable version in case you don’t have internet access on the day. Please contact Ann and Rachel for further advice about this form.
