2024 committee contact details Each Branch covers a geographical area and is organised using the Purposes and the Rules of The Pony Club. Every Branch is led by a District Commissioner helped by a Committee of people assigned to specific roles to support the running of the Branch. Please note every member of the Branch Committee is a volunteer, dedicating spare time to support every Member.

Sarah Harden
District Commissioner
Sarah has been involved with CFHS for many years as a member herself, an instructor, a PC mum and now a PC granny. Her own mum was also DC of CFHS and her dad built the original XC course at Brougham.
Gay Parkin
Branch President
Gay was a member of the CFH when it divided into North and South. She has been involved as a committee member, DC. and now as President. Her two children were also members.
Fiona Veitch
Branch Secretary. Hat Tagger, Mounted Games, Quiz, rallies, website and combined training.
Fiona has been part of CFHS since she was 4 as a member and now an instructor. Her 2 daughters both ride and competed for CFHS. Fiona is on the England Mounted Games (MGAGB) Committee & a List 5 British Dressage judge. In her spare time she travels the M6 taking Holly to games competitions and Amy to BS and PC events.
Vicky Bowman
Jt Health and Safety
Vicky has taken on the role of H&S in which she has vast experience. Vicky’s daughter is now an active member of CFHS.
Kath Gray
Treasurer
Kath has been part of CFHS for many years with her own daughters and now granddaughters.
Heather Reed
Safeguarding
Heather has taken on several roles on the committee – Treasurer, Health and Safety and now Safeguarding. Heathers has two daughters who were part of CFHS for several years as well as her eldest grandson. She is hoping her two youngest grandchildren will carry on the tradition.
Suzanne Richardson
Cheif Instructor, Dressage, hat tagger, tests, rallies and part of the Area training committee..
Suzanne is a former member of the Branch who was on the Area Teams and gained the ‘A’ Test. She started coaching when she was 17 and is a BHS Stage 4 Senior Coach in Complete Horsemanship. Her daughter is a past member of the Branch.
Hannah Stevens
Jt Health and Safety officer
Hannah is new to the CFHS committee and is jt Health and Safety officer with Vicky. Hannah daughter is a member of CFHS.
Jodie Gray
Tetrathlons/Triathlons, mini ODE, rallies
Jodie was a member of CFHS and now a PC mum, her 2 daughters are very active CFHS members and love Tetrathlons.
Linette Hall
Tetrathlons/Triathlons
Linette is our co organiser of Tetrathlons and Triathlons. Her 2 children both love this PC sport and Charlie is part of the North England Tet team.
Amy Veitch
Hat Tagger, Instructor, Horse and Pony Care and Eventing.
Amy has been a member since she was 4 and is now one of our instructors. She is on the PC international quiz team, the youth representative on the Eventing committee, chair of the PC Youth council and a member of the Pony Club PCIA. She passed her A test in 2020 and is also studying Law at university.
Shell Wearmouth
Show Jumping and rallies
Shell has been a committee member for several years and now helps organise our show jumping teams. Her daughter is a very active CFHS member.
Angela Tyson
Rallies
Angela has been on the committee for several years and owns Holme Bottom a fantastic venue we use for our rallies. Her younger daughter is an active member of CFHS.
Claire Horn
Achievement badges
Claire and Joey both co-ordinate our badge nights. Claire’s Son and daughter both take part in Triathlons as well as other branch activities.
Joey Armstrong
Achievement badges
Joey was a member of CFHS as a child and now her daughters are members. She is one of our instructors and co organizes our badges with Claire.

Laura is new to the committee, she grew up locally and rode herself as a child and now her daughter is a member of CFHS.
